Group Exhibition: International Exchange Art Exhibition, Uji, Kyoto 2026
This exhibition aims to promote international cultural exchange and artistic collaboration among artists from around the world, and I’m thrilled to be taking part.
For this exhibition, I will be presenting three small paintings on paper. These luminous, reflective works incorporate experimental super-fine metallic and iridescent pigments.
The paint colours are highly changeable, shifting in response to lighting conditions and the viewer’s physical position in relation to the work.
For example, Molten 7, 2026, features a metallic blue that flips to a dark copper red when viewed on an angle. Similarly, the metallic purple within the work shifts to a deep copper orange.
